Eson Mask Headgear Strap by Fisher and Paykel

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The Fisher and Paykel Eson nasal CPAP mask has the ErgoFit headgear which is a breathable, ergonomically designed headgear that has been made to self fit high and on the rear of your head. This design allows for the complete freedom of movement whether you move your head sideways or even up or down. The headgear is extremely soft and made so that it will NOT irritate your head while being used treating your Sleep Apnea.

The Eson ErgoFit headgear incorporates Velcro tabs with easy clip hooks so that you have the ability for fast fitting or quick removal. The headgear also contains a crown strap that enhances the stability of your CPAP mask. The adjustments to the headgear are made at the crown strap (top of your head), at the forehead area of the mask as well as near the cheek where the easy clip hooks are located. These three areas of adjustable headgear allow for anyone to properly fit the Eson CPAP mask with little or no complication.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

good headgear but velcro gets weak

I have used this mask style for over 3 years. It is easy to use and adjust. My biggest issue with the product is that the Velcro weakens and stops sticking. I have had to replace 2 headgears because of Velcro no longer sticking.

Good but has a serious design flaw

For general fit, this CPAP mask works well but the plastic prongs holding the top of the head gear are too weak. I turn over a lot in my sleep and in 4 months I've broken 3 different prongs.

Light and easy

Great all around nasal mask, really seals good and easy to take apart and clean. Light on my face. Added the headgear at check-out without a prescription! Good Deal
