Eson Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear

30 Day Satisfaction: Try the Eson Nasal Mask risk-free for 30 days and if you are not completely satisfied contact us for a full store credit.

The Fisher Paykel Eson nasal CPAP mask is a newer generation interface for the treatment of sleep apnea. This series of CPAP masks from Fisher Paykel have replaced the outdated Zest series and offer an entire new level of comfort that is much lighter and offers a better mask seal. A nasal style CPAP mask covers the outer part of the nose only and is a great product for users that cannot tolerate a nasal pillow style. Although this interface is approved for max CPAP pressures it has always been recognized that higher pressure setting will blow the mouth open; suggesting the user should use a full face.

The small frame of the Eson uses RollFit technology which comfortably adapts to sleep position change and reduces pressure by rolling at the bridge of the nose. The ball and socket elbow offers a wide range of movement and a reduction in mask drag of the CPAP hose. All Eson masks use the same frame size while the cushions are conveniently available in 3 sizes: Small, Medium, and Large.

The Eson uses a forehead bar that adds additional adaptation for the cushion by anchoring the cushion while allowing for movement. This bar holds enough support to help keep the seal from moving too far, but allows enough movement to help maintain a CPAP mask seal during positional changes during sleep.

Special Features

  • RollFit Seal- Fisher Paykel has created the RollFit Seal technology, this lets you receive a comfortable seal while allowing you to move freely throughout the night. No longer worry about your mask shifting causing you air leaks.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal style CPAP mask. These masks are the most prescribed and uses a triangle shaped
silicone cushion that seals around the outside of the nose only.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal CPAP mask is
A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is
included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to
clean with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your
cushion seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.
Your headgear strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room
air.

good headgear but velcro gets weak

I have used this mask style for over 3 years. It is easy to use and adjust. My biggest issue with the product is that the Velcro weakens and stops sticking. I have had to replace 2 headgears because of Velcro no longer sticking.

Good but has a serious design flaw

For general fit, this CPAP mask works well but the plastic prongs holding the top of the head gear are too weak. I turn over a lot in my sleep and in 4 months I've broken 3 different prongs.

Great all around nasal mask, really seals good and easy to take apart and clean. Light on my face. Added the headgear at check-out without a prescription! Good Deal

Comfortable Nasal mask

Haven't been using this mask long but I will still rate it with 5 stars. So much better then the nasal pillow mask I was using. The cushion makes it much more comfortable . Also so easy to adjust . Fits great, I do recommend this mask.
