AirFit F10 for Her Full Face Mask

ResMed continues to design a comfortable CPAP mask that caters to your needs! Long known for their successes with the Quattro FX for Her and Quattro Air for Her CPAP masks, the AirFit F10 for Her is sure to bring the next level of comfort and performance to many CPAP users to come.

This therapy interface consists of 4 components that can be replaced as needed. It is recommended to replace your mask every 6-12 months or as needed with wear and tear however, the mask cushion and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months because the components collect facial oils that build up and will cause leaks and discomfort and not properly maintained.

Special Features and Benefits

Freedom - Freedom of a forehead support bar offers free line of sight to view television or read while wearing your therapy device. The new AirFit F10 offers the latest technology in comfort, stability, and performance for full face CPAP masks. The simplistic design has all the benefits of a traditional full face mask in a small, lightweight and compact form. CPAP users will also notice its diffused venting that redirects exhaled air more evenly and away making it less likely to rebound off surrounding objects or bed partners.

Designed for Women - In ResMed testing, patients preferred the AirFit F10 over ResMed's leading compact full face mask in terms of seal, comfort, stability, and ease of use. The AirFit F10 for Her is the lightest full face mask on the market for women, and its four-piece design makes it easy to clean and maintain.

Ease of Use - Three-click cushion-to-frame retention system improves usability and makes it a snap to put back together after cleaning. The dual-wall Spring Air cushion provides a comfortable and reliable seal by gently conforming to the face. For best results it is recommended to clean your cushion surface daily, CPAP mask wipes are an easy and quick solution to keep your AirFit F10 clean.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

F10 works way better than the F20 for me.

I have used the F10 for years. I have accidentally purchased the F20 by mistake and I don't like it nearly as much. I hope they keep making it. It has a better seal for me. I like the feel of the mask material better. I switched to this when it first came out. I switched from the Quartaro.

Sleeper in the sleep world....

Listen. I do mask fits for a living. They replaced this mask with the F20, but there is still a real place for these. I like them better because of their light weight, and superior elbow fitting. These put a LOT less pressure on your face than the F20, and I wish they still made these in Extra Small! Also, if you have a pacemaker, use of these, not the F20. Magnets are contraindicated with pacemakers.

Works well; has gotten expensive

The F10 has been very helpful to me. It seems more comfortable than other full-face masks. Prices have increased dramatically over the last few years for the same product, so I have gone from monthly replacements to once every 2 months. While I can tell a difference after 60 days, they hold up pretty well. The plastic cushions become soft and I experience more leaks by the end of 60 days.

comfortable but flimsy

The plastic pieces that join the headgear to the mask are rather flimsy. I've had these break a couple of times.
