This is the replacement water chamber tub for the heated humidifier of the Fisher Paykel SleepStyle 200 CPAP series. It is recommended to use distilled water in the reservoir tank to prevent corrosive build up of calcium and lime which can develop with the use of standard tap water. Can I Use Tap Water to Fill My CPAP Humidifier Water Tank?

It is recommended to always use distilled water for your CPAP humidifier. Bottled or tap water contains harsh minerals that can cause buildup and damage your equipment.

How Often Should I Fill the CPAP Water Tank?

The frequency to fill or change your water can be dependent on multiple factors including time of year and your machine settings. Typically, in summer months you will notice the use of your air conditioner may slow the rate of your CPAP water use while wintertime will make you fill it daily.

How do I Clean the Water Chamber Tank?

You should clean the water chamber regularly. A good method is to wash it with a solution of mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse it thoroughly. You can also soak it in a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts water for 10 minutes before rinsing well.

Why is it Important to Clean My CPAP Equipment?

Bacteria and mold build up is possible if the right CPAP cleaning procedures are ignored. Failure to clean or replace your supplies can lead to illness.
