Evora Nasal Cushion

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

A common issue with many CPAP users is skin irritation which can occur in many different ways. Whether you suffer from sensitive skin or notice irritation around your nose after wearing your CPAP mask each night, Fisher Paykel has come up with a solution. The Evora Nasal Mask offers an all-new minimal contact replacement cushion that rests gently under your nose, unlike most nasal CPAP masks that cover your entire nose. By allowing the bridge of your nose to remain free from contact, you will feel a greater sense of freedom from your previous nasal cushions. These cushions securely connect to the mask frame and short tube which incorporates laser-drilled exhaust holes to reduce noise and draft.

How Do I Find My Size?

Having trouble with mask leaks or feel as though you may have the wrong size cushion? Download our Sizing Guide located in our manual tab above to resize your Evora nasal cushion and achieve the comfortable night of sleep you deserve!

Special Features and Benefits

  • Minimal Contact - The silicone material of the cushion sits softly under your nose to provide a comfortable fit during sleep and reduces the risk of skin irritation through contact. This is most beneficial if you suffer from sensitive skin or have allergies to certain material. If you are a side sleeper or an active sleeper, the Evora is the mask for you and with a 30-day satisfaction promise, you will receive a full store credit if you are not completely satisfied!
  • Sleep Quietly - Laser-drilled exhaust holes in the mask frame minimize noise and draft as you sleep. In turn, this ensures you and your family can sleep peacefully throughout the night. Choose from 4 nasal cushion sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and Wide. We even offer a convenient fit pack option if you are looking for the best fit the first night!
  • Freedom of Movement - These compact nasal seals rest gently under your nose to create a comfortable, unobtrusive fit, while the flexible short tube keeps your mask in place. The stability wings on the sides of the cushion maintain your seal and reduce the risk of mask leaks while the floating seal wraps around your nose with minimal contact. Move freely as you search for the most comfortable sleeping position without the hassle of losing your mask seal!

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

THE BEST

This mask is the best mask that I have tried. The way that it cradles the nose it really doesn't feel like your ever wearing a mask. I also like that it comes with all sizes so that you can find that perfect fit.

Excellent and gentle seal for back sleepers

By far the best mask I have ever used. It's gentle, the least obtrusive, and seals great - although I pretty much stay on my back throughout the night. I also use mouth tape as I'm a mouth breather (I could never get the full masks to work right either). It's important to keep the hose positioned straight down from your nose with no torque caused by the hose hanging down from the machine and back up the side of the bed - this can cause flow limitations and pressure variations. Maybe for those who shift around in your sleep you can clip the hose to your chest to minimize movement? Just a thought.

Great, comfortable nasal mask.

Have tried atleast 5 other masks and different brands. The EVORA is the best I've found. I can not handle a full face mask and the nasal mask that have to stick in your nostrils. This pillow lays under the nose and almost feels like you don't even have a mask on.
