ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask Kit

ResMed's all-new AirFit P30i nasal pillows CPAP mask has a unique top-of-the-head tube connection ideal for active sleepers. This hose connection provides a quality fit while ensuring a reliable connection. Designed to offer you greater freedom of movement, it can be partnered with ResMed's SlimLine CPAP tube or another lightweight tube to utilize the mask's full features. And because the AirFit P30i comes with multiple-sized pillows, you can be assured of a good fit.

Using the nasal pillows mask with headgear is designed to feel more natural and provide a more restful night's sleep. The SpringFit frame comes in two sizes and is easily adjustable to different facial profiles, making it simple to achieve the perfect fit. The AirFit P30i has two starter pack options with several pillows. The standard ResMed AirFit P30i frame comes with three pillow sizes (small, medium, large) and the small frame comes with two pillow sizes (small and medium).

ResMed's QuietAir vent technology gently diffuses exhaled air to minimize noise and disturbance. This advanced whisper quiet CPAP pillows technology plus the physical design of the mask lets users spend the night closer to their bed partner. ResMed developed the AirFit P30i to use the same SpringFit frame and soft headgear as the AirFit N30i mask so the cushions are interchangeable. Exchanging your cushion is the only action required to easily switch between a nasal mask and nasal pillows mask.

The ResMed AirFit P30i nasal pillow mask does not require a prescription, which makes it an easy decision to select this nasal pillows mask for your CPAP needs.

AirFit P30i Features and Benefits

  • Top-of-the-head Tube - Move freely without disruptive top of head movement tangling your hose connection.
  • SpringFit Frame - Receive the most accurate fit during the first use of the AirFit P30i as the frame (available in two sizes) adjusts to your personalized facial profile.
  • Quick Release Elbow - Easily disconnect your mask by pinching the sides of the elbow. Simply remove the tubing from your ResMed AirFit P30i without completely removing your mask and headgear. This eliminates the need to find the same comfortable fit you had before removal meaning more quality sleep and less hassle.
  • Soft Sleeves - The Soft Sleeves complement the streamlined mask profile to create a softer, more comfortable experience for you.
  • AirFit P30i Pillow -Created to be interchangeable with the AirFit N30i nasal cushion, the P30i nasal pillow CPAP offers you various mask and nasal pillows options. The curved cushion design cradles the nose and smoothly transitions from thicker side walls for added stability to a thinner soft center.
  • QuietAir - The ResMed AirFit P30i minimizes noise and possible sleep disturbance as the vent gently diffuses exhaled air.
  • Septum Bridge Membrane - This nasal pillow CPAP mask ensures an intuitive fit and provides a stable seal all the way to the tip of the nose through the night.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal pillow style CPAP mask. These masks are the least invasive and use silicone pillows that
seal in or around the outside of the nostril only.

Will This Brand
of Mask Work with Any CPAP Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal pillow CPAP
mask is A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Slippage

Mask is nice but needs a larger version and better strap. It slips up when sleeping. I was hoping this would replace my resperonics Dreamwear gel pillows mask, which is discontinued, but will need to look for another mask now.

Too noisy for me.

I like the idea of having the hose out of the way above my head, but I found the mask noisy with air whistling through pipes going up the side of my head. I found the exhaust whistles out the nose piece too noisy as well. I also found it would pull left or right when I roll over and leak out past my nose.

Easy to sleep with

Works great! Getting the head strap tension just right takes a little fiddling, but the process is straightforward. If there are air leaks, it needs to be tightened. As an aside, I find coconut oil on the nasal pads to really help prevent any chafing.

Old user's opinion.

I would say any user would have some issues with any mask but having been a CPAP user since 1999, having used a number of machines and masks, I find the P30i most meets my requirements. In my view, quietest, most comfortable and best control of the air hose. Great Mask.

Love this mask! However...

I don't know if it's the shape of my head, but the whole mask "creeps" up my head during the night and can come off. But I do love it being much quieter and there is no air blowing out from my face! My nostrils get a little irritated too at times, but I think that is improving. Great mask!
