Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

Slippage

Mask is nice but needs a larger version and better strap. It slips up when sleeping. I was hoping this would replace my resperonics Dreamwear gel pillows mask, which is discontinued, but will need to look for another mask now.

Too noisy for me.

I like the idea of having the hose out of the way above my head, but I found the mask noisy with air whistling through pipes going up the side of my head. I found the exhaust whistles out the nose piece too noisy as well. I also found it would pull left or right when I roll over and leak out past my nose.

Easy to sleep with

Works great! Getting the head strap tension just right takes a little fiddling, but the process is straightforward. If there are air leaks, it needs to be tightened. As an aside, I find coconut oil on the nasal pads to really help prevent any chafing.

Old user's opinion.

I would say any user would have some issues with any mask but having been a CPAP user since 1999, having used a number of machines and masks, I find the P30i most meets my requirements. In my view, quietest, most comfortable and best control of the air hose. Great Mask.
