AirFit F30 Replacement Headgear Strap

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The ResMed AirFit F30 headgear is designed to give you that extra softness and stability that is so important for a good fit. The magnetic clips that come with the headgear help to guide the headgear to fit the frame with ease. The AirFit F30 headgear is designed to reach above the ears and over the crown of the head before connecting at the base of the head. With 4 headgear connection points, the 2 upper straps connect at the top of the mask frame, while the lower 2 straps connect to magnets on the base of the mask frame. The AirFit F30 headgear replacement strap is available in size standard (medium). It is recommended to replace your head gear strap every three to six months. Replacing your old, worn out head gear will increase your comfort level and help you sleep better.

Are Headgear Clips Included with My Purchase?

Headgear clips are not included with this product.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

Poor

Poor seal around the nose and too much air leaking.

Minimal and comfortable

This mask is much more minimal compared to other full-face masks I’ve tried. I feel less claustrophobic when wearing it and can watch tv much easier due to it not being near my eyes. No leaks and comfortable cushion as well.

Amazing

Best mask ever love it!! Went from the one that covered my whole nose to losing insurance because I would take the mask off at night because it would mess my nose up which I now have a scar from. The first time I used this I got 7 hours and I get 7-8 every day.

A Very Nice Mask!

This mask is fantastic! For a decade I used nasal pillows. Then after losing some weight, it didn't work so well. The CPAP blew air into my nose and right back out my mouth, leaving my mouth extremely dry. I tried the chin strap to hold my mouth closed but hated it. This mask is just a little bit bulkier than the nasal pillows, but it covers both the mouth and nose. It fits my face perfect with no leaking at all. It is very quiet and doesn't blow air into my wife's face like some others I have had.

Easy Peasy to use.

My physician recommended this headgear for me. I've been using this type for about 18 months. I find it to be really comfortable to wear, easy to put on and quick to clean. I have found that the mag clips will pop off when I'm laying on my side. I'm often not aware that one has popped off. The straps that go near the outer eye area get moved out of position if I'm not lying on my back. When I'm reading with the mask on, the straps don't interfere with my peripheral view. I don't think these issues are design flaws. I have a small head with measurements that match a teen than an adult. I wish it came in a smaller size as I have the straps at the smallest length possible and the fit still feels like I need to adjust it more to make it smaller. I think this would take care of the mag clips coming off so easily.
