ResMed AirFit F30 Cushion Seal

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The ResMed AirFit F30 cushion is made of a silicone material that provides you a reliable seal when attached to your F30 full-face CPAP mask. The soft replacement cushion has a compact design that covers the bottom of both nostrils and your mouth by sealing around them to ensure a reliable and secure fit. These cushions are compatible with the ResMed AirFit F30 frame, making changing out the replacement quick and easy.

Why A Replacement Cushion is Essential

With regular wear, the F30 cushion on your AirFit F30 Full Face CPAP Mask is exposed to facial oils, which can affect the performance of the silicone and break it down over time. Even if you clean and care for your mask according to the manufacturer instructions, the natural result of wearing the F30 cushion against your skin for hours at a time will eventually affect it. What happens is your mask begins to leak and you lose the effectiveness of your CPAP therapy. Instead of properly pressurized air being available to you for breathing, it escapes through a poor seal.

How the ResMed AirFit F30 Full Face Mask Cushion is Different

The manufacturer of the ResMed AirFit F30 full face mask frame, making small and medium replacement cushion sizes, allows users to keep their full face CPAP working like new every time users swap it out. The bottom of the cushion feels soft against your skin while the sides and top offer a gentle yet complete seal.

Enjoy A Restful Sleep with an AirFit F30 Mask

Adapting to wearing a ResMed AirFit F30 full face mask every night can be challenging for some users. Selecting a mask and headgear that fits comfortably while also delivering consistent and reliable performance is important. The "Fit" series and "Touch" series are the newest family of sleep apnea therapy products from ResMed. The full-face style implements a compact design that covers the nose and mouth allowing you to breathe easily through both.

Get the Best Results from a Right-Sized Mask and Cushion

Headgear and cushions in several sizes allow for a comfortable fit and effective seal to maintain the proper pressure from your CPAP device and through the tubes to your mouth and nose through a CPAP mask. The F30 full face cushion fits the ResMed AirFit F30 and provides targeted CPAP therapy through the bottom of both nostrils and the mouth, and seals completely.

Important Note: Purchasing this product only includes the full face cushion and DOES NOT include the complete AirFit F30 Full Face CPAP Mask. Browse for your size in the F30 headgear and cushions to find the best fit when assembling your CPAP device and accessories to balance fit, comfort, and performance.

The small and medium f30 face cushion is compatible with the AirFit frame, making them interchangeable. And because no prescription is needed, you’re free to change out your cushion whenever the fit or seal doesn’t meet your expectations any longer. Consider keeping an extra on hand for added convenience.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

Poor

Poor seal around the nose and too much air leaking.

Minimal and comfortable

This mask is much more minimal compared to other full-face masks I’ve tried. I feel less claustrophobic when wearing it and can watch tv much easier due to it not being near my eyes. No leaks and comfortable cushion as well.

Amazing

Best mask ever love it!! Went from the one that covered my whole nose to losing insurance because I would take the mask off at night because it would mess my nose up which I now have a scar from. The first time I used this I got 7 hours and I get 7-8 every day.

A Very Nice Mask!

This mask is fantastic! For a decade I used nasal pillows. Then after losing some weight, it didn't work so well. The CPAP blew air into my nose and right back out my mouth, leaving my mouth extremely dry. I tried the chin strap to hold my mouth closed but hated it. This mask is just a little bit bulkier than the nasal pillows, but it covers both the mouth and nose. It fits my face perfect with no leaking at all. It is very quiet and doesn't blow air into my wife's face like some others I have had.

Great except under very high pressure settings.

I found this mask to be much more comfortable than a full face mask. I felt like the nostril holes didn't quite line up correctly but once the machine was turned on, the air flowed into my nose just fine through them. My issue is and may be limited to only people with high pressure settings. I use an automatic machine in which the air pressure adjusts throughout the night when I need it more. When in a deep sleep my air pressure gets pretty high and that's where i had issues. Once i reached full pressure through the night, the seal under the nose would leak. I'd have to reset my machine several times throughout the night. I could fall asleep very easily with this mask but as stated it doesn't seal well under very high pressure. If you have moderate apnea and a lower pressure setting, I would recommend giving this a try.
