Wisp Reduced Size Headgear Strap by Philips Respironics

The Philips Respironics reduced size Wisp nasal mask headgear is designed for use with all Wisp CPAP and BiPAP masks. If your hat size is 7.25 or smaller or shirt collar size is less than 17" then you most likely will use a standard or reduced.

Is there anything more uncomfortable than trying to get to sleep with a CPAP mask that just doesn’t quite fit right? If you’re not wearing the right headgear size, you’re not going to get the rest you need from your sleep apnea therapy. Patients don’t use devices that are uncomfortable, after all. You wouldn’t wear a baseball cap that was the wrong hat size, would you? Of course not - it would be either too tight to fit comfortably or it would be so big that it would be constantly falling off. Well, it’s the exact same thing with CPAP mask’s headgear sizes. That’s why we recommend a headgear like the Respironics Wisp nasal CPAP headgear with adjustable straps!

Capable of accommodating a wide variety of sleepers, the Wisp nasal CPAP mask headgear offers four adjustable straps that converge into a single back panel, making it easy to adjust your nasal mask frame to fit your face comfortably. The Wisp CPAP nasal mask also has a crown strap to provide extra support while receiving CPAP therapy at night for even better air flow. Receive the perfect combination of performance and comfort with this lightweight headgear strap. Please note, this replacement headgear is only compatible with the Respironics Wisp Nasal Mask and will not work with any other CPAP Masks.

Easily adjust your mask headgear for your Philips Respironics Wisp nasal mask with the included magnetic headgear clips that snap securely into the CPAP mask frame. Simplify the process of removing your mask in the middle of the night! Take advantage of the self adjusting top strap of this headgear for Wisp nasal CPAP masks, which can be used to stabilize your CPAP hose.

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size of replacement mask headgear.

1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear size, some offer different sizes.

2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled in the fabric, be sure to check there first.

Not sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask headgear typically has a life span of 1-3 months, however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is A7035.
