Vesper Full Face CPAP Mask Fit Pack

If you are a user of the ResMed F20 full face mask then there is a good chance you are going to love the Vesper mask by Sunset Healthcare. The Vesper full face mask offers the latest in CPAP mask design, giving users a fresh option for maximum comfort. With a streamlined fit and modern features, including ergonomic stabilizing arms that curve toward the temples, Vesper is ideal for users who prefer a mask without a forehead piece.

The Vesper masks offer better visibility, a more open feel, and a lighter fit. The flexible interface moves with side and stomach sleepers, while the open design helps prevent forehead marks. A 360-degree swivel elbow reduces awkward tube tangles, helping create a calmer, more comfortable night’s sleep.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand of Mask Work with Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask is A7030 and A7035.

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.
