Headgear for Ultra Mirage Full Face

ResMed Ultra Mirage CPAP mask headgear strap is designed to work with the Ultra Mirage full face series of CPAP masks. This headgear comes in a "one size fits most" option with the ability to tighten or loosen the side straps. Each strap connects via Velcro tabs to the mask frame with 2 straps positioned above the ears and 2 straps below the ears.

Please Note: This mask headgear uses (4) clips that are NOT included but can be added separately here Mirage Clips.

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size of replacement mask headgear.

1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear size, some offer different sizes.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months, however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is A7035.
