How Often Should I Replace My Filters?

To make sure that the air quality you breathe during the
night is high and safe, you need to replace or clean the CPAP filters
periodically. If you have pets, have someone in your home who smokes, or have a
wood-burning stove, you will need to replace the filters more regularly. Disposable
CPAP filters should be replaced every 1-3 months. You cannot reuse them. You
will want to change the disposable in-line bacteria filters every 30 days.

Reusable filters should be replaced every 12-24 months depending
on routine maintenance.

How Do I Clean My Machine Filter?

Unless your machine uses a reusable filter, it is recommended
to dispose of the CPAP filter and not attempt to clean and reuse. Disposable filters
are typically made of a thin white material and should be disposed/replaced
when noticeable build up can be seen or it has been 3 months. Reusable filters
are made of foam-like material and can be cleaned by hand and left to air dry.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for disposable CPAP
filters is A7038. The HCPC code for reusable CPAP filters is A7039.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, machine and mask parts do not require a prescription for
purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP machine by replacing your
CPAP filter on a frequent basis!

Small

Love how small and compact it is but it is louder than my normal machine

Impressive Machine

I'm truly impressed by this machine. This little tiny machine is powerful for it's size. I used the air touch F2O mask and it was nighty night. There is a little noise if you're not using the muffler, but to me it wasn't too loud. I was able to fall back asleep after waking up. I didn't use the HME and my mouth wasn't dry. I would recommend this machine.

Small but loud

I love the size of this but sheesh... it's loud. If I have a fan i turn it on to help cancel out the noise. there is literally nothing you can do about the noise but not having to pack a big load all the time is worth it.

Highly Recommended

After being without a CPAP for a little over 2 weeks the first couple of nights I was readjusting to the therapy with choosing different masks as well. I have went back to my Dreamwear Full Face Mask which works very well with this unit. I do not use the humidification. The muffler kit is a very nice accessory to help with the noise level. Once I got readjusted I have been able to fall asleep more easier and stay asleep longer than I have been prior. Also, the size let me repeat the size of the machine is so convenient. If fits right on the corner of my nightstand without taking up much space. The tubing with the Micro is long enough so I do not have to worry about it falling off or pulling it while I am asleep. I am very grateful to be catching up with some much-needed rest with the Transcend Micro. If you are a CPAP user and considering purchasing a travel machine I highly recommend this one.

Small Size Beats My Home CPAP

I was skeptical about making this purchase after reading other reviews however I needed something as soon as possible for a destination wedding (not mine). My wife will not let me go a night without using my cpap and I wasn't' about to spend 10 nights sleeping on a pullout couch. I used to take my regular cpap on my trip until one time the airline lost it and it was the worst 2 months of my life waiting for a new one. Anyways, this travel cpap is a little louder than my Resmed s9 but not enough to keep my wife awake, she actually likes the ambient noise it makes. You can't beat the size of this thing. It is so small and I put it my back pack on the plane. The lights were noticeable but I keep it below the night stand so big deal there. I got great sleep on my trip and my wife reported no snoring. My Resmed mask connected to it easy. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I will gladly take a little more noise for the convenience of portability.
