Headgear for ResMed Swift LT for Her CPAP Mask

The Swift LT for Her is a nasal pillow CPAP mask by ResMed. This is the headgear harness used to keep the mask in place and is attached to the mask frame. The Swift LT for Her uses a patented rotating barrel to adjust the pillow angle. The stability arms expand to accommodate most facial widths including narrow or wide faces. This headgear fits both the Swift LT and Swift LT for Her nasal pillow CPAP mask. It is recommended to hand wash and let it air dry to get a longer lasting lifespan of the headgear harness.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size of replacement mask headgear.

1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear size, some offer different sizes.

2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled in the fabric, be sure to check there first.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months, however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.
