Soft Cloth Cushion for SleepWeaver elan

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The soft, breathable, cloth SleepWeaver will leave you feeling like you're not wearing any CPAP mask at all. It is silicone and latex free meaning your nose will be free of irritation and your face will remain free from uncomfortable red-marks from over-tightening. These cushions are designed for use with all SleepWeaver Elan Soft Cloth CPAP and BiPAP masks.

The élan's cloth, skin friendly cushion inflates like a balloon during CPAP & BiPAP therapy pressing gently against the face to create a soft, leak free seal with no pressure points. Because SleepWeaver cloth is breathable the mask feels cool and dry to wear and the fabric feels natural on the skin unlike the plastic and silicone of most CPAP mask solutions.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

My Opinion

Thank god for this mask! The ones that are plastic made my face break out in a rash and I couldn't leave my house for days. If you have the same problem I suggest you try this mask.

Read First

I have tried this mask twice, the first one broke pretty quickly, so ordered another. It worked great for about 2 months, then the air inlet kept pulling out. I would have to pull my mask off and then get the inlet back in the mask, taking off the washer and then tighten it again....this would happen several times over the night. The same thing happened to both my masks, now I cant use it, so I am buying something else. Very comfortable just horrible design.

great except for lack of air hose strap and tentative hose/mask connection

I like these a lot but they need a strap over the head to secure the air hose in my opinion. So I make one. And the connection of hose to mask is not robust. Don't pull the mask away from the hose. Hold them together when putting on or taking off.

Needs better velcro but a great mask for sensitive skin or those who have claustrophobia

I love the softness and comfort of this mask. I drawback is that the velcro needs to be stronger it does not grip well. This is my second head gear and it is just too week. Comes off when you are sleeping and comes loose when you turn over.
