SleepWeaver Advanced Pediatric Cloth Mask

The SleepWeaver Advance Pediatric is a smaller profile CPAP mask geared towards children. Young sleep apnea sufferers tend to have much smaller faces and heads than adult users. Even some of the smaller masks and smaller size cushions are still too large for children. So, Circadiance has come up with this pediatric version of the skin friendly Advance CPAP mask. Add the optional featherweight tubing to receive the full benefits of this lightweight cloth mask!

Special Features

Zzzephyr Seal - The Zzzephyr Seal acts as a balloon, inflating with the flow of air that pushes gently against the face to form a soft, adaptable cloth seal. After the cushion is inflated, the soft material conforms to the face creating a seal. Covered in soft fabric with no rigid parts that come in contact with the skin, the user is less likely to experience red marks or sores as a result of therapy. The Zzzephyr Seal is intended to shift with movement in order to accommodate a wide range of sleeping positions without losing seal.

Breathable Headgear - The SleepWeaver Advanced Pediatric soft Breathable 5-Point Headgear is easily adjustable and eliminates hard buckles and excessive pressure. The headgear is soft, yet durable with fabric that wicks moisture and heat away from the child, enhancing comfort while reducing skin irritation.

Skin Friendly - With natural cloth materials the SleepWeaver Advance Pediatric feels light and natural on the face and it's great for children with sensitive skin or allergies.

No Silicone or Latex - For children with sensitive skin the makers of the SleepWeaver Pediatric Mask has designed this mask with children in mind that may have very sensitive skin or allergies.

Exhalation Port Design - To keep air from blowing in the child's eyes or disturbing their sleep, as well as any parent who might be sleeping with the child, Circadiance configured the exhalation holes in a diffused pattern on the front of the cushion.

No Rigid Frame - Unlike most CPAP masks, the SleepWeaver Advance Pediatric is designed without a frame holding your cushion in place. This gives your child the ability to move freely every night and lay in the most comfortable sleeping position for them.

Cleaning - The SleepWeaver Advance Pediatric mask and headgear can be washed in a washing machine with your regular laundry using your usual detergent. Use a gentle cycle with cold or warm water. Never use hot water or a tumble dryer, as this may cause the mask to shrink and disfigure. The SleepWeaver mask will usually hang dry in 1-2 hours. The SleepWeaver can also be hand washed with a mild, non-abrasive hand soap.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal style CPAP mask. These masks are the most prescribed and uses a triangle shaped silicone cushion that seals around the outside of the nose only.

Will This Brand of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal CPAP mask is A7034 and A7035.

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.
