S9 ClimateLine MAX Oxy Tubing with O2 Port

Product Description

The ClimateLine Max Oxy hose has an oxygen port that is on the rubber cuff end of the tube which connects to the ResMed H5i™ Heated Humidifier. The position of the oxygen tube is important as it allows the additional oxygen that is being added to the CPAP or Bi-Level pressure to be humidified together throughout the tube. This feature will make using a CPAP or Bi-Level with supplemental oxygen a more comfortable experience.

The ClimateLine Max Oxy heated tube provides a consistent level of humidification from the machine to the mask. The consistent temperature helps reduce the chance of "rainout" (condensation build up) from occurring while allowing the user to get higher levels of humidity, hence keeping the airway from drying during use.

Special Features

There are sensors built into the ResMed S9 Series machines / H5i™ Heated Humidifier that monitor room temperature and humidity that then work with the heated tubing to adjust the humidity while providing it to the user which makes using the CPAP or Bi-Level more tolerable.

Corrugated exterior and smooth interior allow for the tubing to be very flexible and reduce the chances of soap or water being stuck in the tube after cleaning.

Is this CPAP Hose Tubing Heated?

Yes. These CPAP hose tubes are heated and made to work with
specific CPAP makes and models. If you need assistance to find out if your machine
is a heated tube capable model, please contact our customer service department.

Will This CPAP Hose Tubing Work with Any CPAP Brand?

No, heated tubing is specific to makes and models of CPAP.  Most heated hose tubes are an industry
standard 6ft length with 22 mm cuffs at one end for your mask and a special
connecting end for the machine. If you need assistance, please contact our
customer service department.

How Do I Clean My CPAP Tubing?

To maintain the cleanliness of your heated tubing, follow
these steps: unplug the tubing from both your CPAP machine and mask. Gently
wash it with mild soap and warm water, ensuring a thorough rinse. Allow the
tubing to air dry completely before reattaching it. It is crucial to avoid
using harsh chemicals or detergents, as these can damage the tubing and
potentially affect its performance. Additionally, ensure that the tubing is
fully dry to prevent any bacterial growth and subsequent machine malfunction.

How Often Should I Replace My CPAP Tubing?

Your CPAP hose tubing should be replaced every 6-12 months
or if it develops any type of leak during use. Proper maintenance and care will
promote a longer lifespan of your CPAP hose. Please refer to your manual for
cleaning and replacement instructions

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a heated CPAP hose is
A4604.
