Wizard 230 CPAP Mask Headgear

The Mr. Wizard 230 headgear is a replacement strap for the Mr. Wizard 230 nasal pillow CPAP mask. The headgear is made with Breath-O-Prene® material, along with a special technique that provides an excellent seal and comfort. The cleaning of this product should be hand washed and left out to air dry (do not put in the drier). When mask strap begins to lose elasticity it is time to replace.

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size of replacement mask headgear.

1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear size, some offer different sizes.

2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled in the fabric, be sure to check there first.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months, however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.
