ResMed Mirage Kidsta™ CPAP Mask Headgear

This is a replacement headgear for the ResMed Mirage Kidsta™ and Vista™ nasal CPAP mask. The Kidsta™ is a special sized framed designed with a child's facial features in mind and the Vista™ is designed for petite adults. The easy click-on, click-off parts are ideal for children's hands to grasp. The headgear was specially designed to fit children's features and head sizes. The new headgear design eliminates forehead support and allows users to wear eyeglasses and see clearly without any mask obstructions allowing more freedom.

The "Fit Angle Selector" allows precise fitting for greater stability and best possible fit. The Headgear comes pre-assembled and once you fit it to your features, it stays fitted. The headgear comes with quick-release clips that allows you to remove the headgear without adjustments.

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size of replacement mask headgear.

1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear size, some offer different sizes.

2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled in the fabric, be sure to check there first.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask headgear typically has a life span of 1-3 months, however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.
