Mirage Quattro Full Face CPAP Mask

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

Mirage Quattro is a full face style CPAP mask by ResMed for sleep apnea treatment. A full face mask is a triangle shaped interface that covers the nose and mouth. This feature allows you to breathe through the nose or mouth for comfort, a benefit to those that have trouble breathing against a high CPAP pressure. The ResMed Mirage Quattro is also often prescribed for users on Bi-Level (BiPAP), a therapy device that uses two different pressure settings for inhaling and exhaling.

Mirage Quattro micro fit dial offers a choice of 24 positions on the forehead support to suit individual facial structures. The masks spring air cushion technology accommodates movement during sleep and provides an effective solution for jaw drop. ResMed Mirage Quattro incorporates vent holes and a built-in valve so that you can continue to breathe fresh air if the airflow to your mask is impeded for any reason.

Special Features

  • Dual-Wall Silicone Material - The dual-wall cushion of the Mirage Quattro and spring air technology allows the freedom of movement during sleep.
  • Easy Adjustment - The MicroFit dial allows you to move the forehead support away from your head providing you optimal comfort.
  • Multiple Cushion Sizes - There are 4 sizes (XS, SM, MD, LG) ensuring you receive the perfect fit and tight seal.
  • Headgear Clips - These allow for easy connect and disconnect meaning no more hassle when you need to get up in the middle of the night.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Good seal and comfortable mask

I’ve been using this mask for years since starting therapy and still love it. I have tried other masks but none that fit my face like this one. The forehead support allows me to adjust it as needed and creates a good seal all night.

My opinion on the mask

Pros: This bipap mask offers comfort to the face and didnt cause the marks left by the comfort full face mask I tried before. The dial on top lets me reduce any air that would blow into my eyes. The disconnect clip lets me get out of bed without taking my mask off. Cons: The headgear tends to move around and slide down a bit, so I need to readjust it. The cpap mask cushion is removable and the clip is a little difficult to put back together.

Microfit Dial!

This full face mask really gives a secure seal with a comfortable fit. The new MicroFit dial is really helpful to adjust just the right amount of pressure I need to keep everything in place. Great invention! I would recommend this mask based on that alone, although the cushion is great too and stays in place with movement.
