Mirage Micro CPAP Mask Cushion

This replacement seal cushion for the Mirage Micro nasal CPAP mask by ResMed needs to be replaced every 1-3 months depending on proper care. An indicator that it is time to change your CPAP mask cushion is excessive mask leak or lack of an effective seal from the cushion, even after cleaning. If your cushion has changed color from it's original clear color to a yellowish color then it is time to change this cushion seal out.

How Do I find my Size?

The Mirage Micro is one of the most convenient cushions to replace. You can find the clear size indicator on the bottom or the side of the silicone cushion. To make the replacement process even easier, arrows are also located on the bottom of the cushion to ensure simple connection to the mask frame.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

comfortable, lasts and seals well

I've been using CPAPs since 1996. I settle on this mask after many years with other versions. This one has proven to be the most comfortable. The construction is such that it also seems to outlast the other CPAPs I've used. What more can you ask for. The only problems I've had are clip breakage and the mask cushion falling out. In both cases, it takes awhile before this happens. I bought extra clips and simply put the cushion back in if it falls out.
