DeVilbiss IntelliPAP 2 Water Chamber

The IntelliPAP 2 water chamber is a replacement water chamber that is used with the IntelliPAP 2 heated humidifier. The chamber is dishwasher safe and constructed of strong lexan (polycarbonate resin thermoplastic) and has a stainless steel heat transfer plate. The chamber is easy to remove and replace, and includes built-in overfill protection which prevents humidifier water from damaging the CPAP machine.

The water chamber is made with a unique baffle design, that allows the airflow to collect more humidity. DeVilbiss designed the chamber to hold enough water for a full night's sleep, even at the humidifier's highest setting, you can still expect a full 8 hours of humidification.

Important: The IntelliPAP 2 water chamber is compatible with the IntelliPAP 2 heated humidifier and the IntelliPAP 2 heated humidifier with PulseDose. It is not designed for use with any other humidifier, including the original IntelliPAP integrated heated humidifier.

Cleaning Tips: The water chamber for the IntelliPAP 2 heated humidifier needs to be cleaned daily, it may be placed in the dishwasher for an occasional cleaning in the top rack. Or you may choose to hand wash the chamber with warm water and mild soap.

Can I Use Tap Water to Fill My CPAP Humidifier Water Tank?

It is recommended to always use distilled water for your CPAP humidifier. Bottled or tap water contains harsh minerals that can cause buildup and damage your equipment.

How Often Should I Fill the CPAP Water Tank?

The frequency to fill or change your water can be dependent on multiple factors including time of year and your machine settings. Typically, in summer months you will notice the use of your air conditioner may slow the rate of your CPAP water use while wintertime will make you fill it daily.

How do I Clean the Water Chamber Tank?

You should clean the water chamber regularly. A good method is to wash it with a solution of mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse it thoroughly. You can also soak it in a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts water for 10 minutes before rinsing well.

Why is it Important to Clean My CPAP Equipment?

Bacteria and mold build up is possible if the right CPAP cleaning procedures are ignored. Failure to clean or replace your supplies can lead to illness.
