Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning The manufacturer recommends you clean your Innova mask daily in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse well and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Washing the excess oils from your face before putting on the mask will help to extend the life of your Innova mask.

Special Features and Benefits

  • Unique AIR gel Technology: AIR gel technology increases your compliance by dramatically increasing the comfort-ability of the CPAP mask. The purpose of this design is so the mask can rest as gently as possible on your face. This technology is great for protecting your skin and the irritation that can come from a traditional CPAP mask.
  • No Forehead Pressure Point: When it comes to CPAP mask comfort the less pressure points the better. The Innova has another unique feature in that the forehead support never makes contact with your forehead.
  • Active Innova Headgear Connector: Don't over complicate it. That was the thought process with the Active headgear of the Innova mask. The headgear of the Innova nasal mask moves whenever you move to allow for more freedom and a secure seal the whole night through.
  • Quick-release Headgear Feature: Experience the convenience of the Innova Headgear. The Innova mask comes with quick release headgear that slides off the mask with a light touch and gentle upward motion, allowing you to easily remove the mask with one hand in the dark.

This is a nasal style CPAP mask. These masks are the most prescribed and uses a triangle shaped
silicone cushion that seals around the outside of the nose only.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal CPAP mask is
A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is
included with your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to
clean with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your
cushion seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.
Your headgear strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room
air.

Strap too short

Lower strap too short! Not a little guy to be sure but I need 2 more inches on both sides.

Gel Cushion

I have always had trouble with the silicone seals, I don't have an allergy but I do get skin irritation. I bought this mask hoping it would resolve my irritation and it did! Not only is it convenient but it is extremely comfortable!
