Universal Heated CPAP Tubing with Power Supply

The 6ft Hybernite Universal Heated tube reduces the chance of "rainout" by heated wires that run through the tubing which keeps the temperature consistent from the humidifier to the mask. "Rainout" describes condensation that builds up through the evening in your CPAP tube due to the way the tube rests in a "U-Shape" during use and is a very common problem while using a CPAP or Bi-Level machine. The "U-Shape" collects the humidification during the night that does not make its way through to the mask. When this occurs, a gargling noise happens in the tube and is due to an excessive amount of water collected in the "U-Shape" part of the hose and air pressure passing over it.

This product is intended for use on CPAP or bi-level machines that do not have a heated tube feature available. This product is Not Compatible with CPAP or bi-level machines that require pressure sensor tubing. The Hybernite tube is not recommended for use with Philips Respironics model older than the System One 60 Series.

A lot of people find themselves turning their settings on their heated humidifier down to attempt preventing "rainout" from occurring. The reduction in humidity can cause a reduction in comfort because the airway then receives less humidity leaving it dry and uncomfortable in the morning. The Hibernate Heated Tube works with any type of CPAP machine as it contains its own power supply.
