FitLife Total Face CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics

Product Description

The FitLife total face mask is designed to provide hard-to-fit CPAP patients with the comfort they deserve. Because this mask is easy to fit, use, and seal, it gives you the assurance you need to become compliant with your therapy and get a good night of rest. Providing a complete face seal, this CPAP mask is not designed for every user.

Built of a latex free material, the FitLife offers a robust seal around the less pressure-sensitive perimeter of the face to avoid disrupting your view. Its advanced headgear with easy-to-use snap clips and EZ Peel tabs simplify application and removal because pressure and flow inside the mask are equalized, eye irritation is minimized. The built-in radial diffusion leak ports deflect exhaled air away from your bed partner and provides quiet operation. Ensuring you receive a peaceful night of sleep!

This easy-to-fit mask provides the seal and comfort you need to work toward compliance, something so often thought of as difficult for CPAP users who have faced mask fitting challenges. Available in three sizes: Adult Small, Adult Large and X-Large. The large size fits most, providing the quick, easy, and effective solution that you expect only from Philips Respironics.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Great mask.

Great mask. It would be great to develop something that keeps air from blowing in eyes. I have now developed chronic dry eye.
