This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The DreamWisp headgear can only be used with the DreamWisp nasal CPAP mask. Available in multiple sizes, you are guaranteed to find the perfect fit for a comfortable night's sleep! You can even use your DreamWisp with any CPAP or BiPAP as it is universally compatible with all CPAP Machines except the ResMed AirMini.

Special Features

  • This Four-Point Headgear provides exceptional fit and stability to your DreamWisp CPAP/BiPAP Mask. Magnetic clips are included with this purchase making it even easier to take your mask on and off, allowing you freedom to move through the night. Please note: the metal base for the magnetic clips are not included with the purchase of this headgear, only the magnetic clips. If you are looking to purchase the metal base you will need to order the magnetic clips separately.
  • The Magnetic clips anchor the headgear to the frame, simplifying the process of tightening or loosening when using the Velcro straps. These clips also ensure a secure fit without the worry of your mask sliding off in the middle of the night.

Replacement and Cleaning

  • Replacement: The headgear should be replaced every 3-6 months for optimal fit and comfort. CPAP supplies need to be replaced on a regular basis to promote the most effective sleep therapy.
  • Cleaning: This product should be washed once a week with mild soap and water, then allowing to air dry. The headgear is made of a special latex-free elastic, which is designed to be hypoallergenic. Ultimately, the climate will have a major impact on how often you will need to wash your accessories as all users times will vary.

Are Headgear Clips Included with My Purchase?

Headgear clips are not included with this product.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

Good mask

I am a very active sleeper, so this style mask was recommended to me. It is quite comfortable and I like that it has the option for extra large cushion.

Good for Back Sleepers only

Not a good mask for stomach sleepers. Very good if you are a back sleeper. Since the airflows on both sides of you face, when on your stomach you are pinching off on side with your face.

Best mask design by far. No more wrestling with the tube!

I’ve tried so many masks and hate the ones where the tube hangs below your chin. I could never get comfortable with them. Sleeping was like wrestling with a snake. I’m so glad I found this mask. It provides a hassle free sleep. No more getting tangled in tubing. It disappears over your head and sleep is a joy. Fantastic design. I’m annoyed other brands don’t offer similar designs. This mask is set and forget!

Best nasal mask on the market!

By far the best mask on the market. No wrestling with under nose tubes, this baby sits above your head away from any annoyance. I’ve never slept so well. No idea why other brands don’t imitate this design.

Design Improvement that Works better

My CPAP supplier recently introduced me to this style of headgear and nasal mask. Like it better than the mask that fit over my entire nose. This just comes up to your nose, makes a seal when you breathe and say goodbye to deep marks on my skin in the morning from the older style headgear. Really like that the tube attaches to the top of my head which gives you more freedom to move your head when you sleep.
