Yuwell BreathWear Full Face Mask

Product Description

The BreathWear is the latest full face mask developed by Yuwell. This CPAP mask covers the nose and mouth without using an annoying forehead support. This allows the user a clear field of vision to read or watch television before falling asleep. The BreathWear YF-02 is very similar in design to the ResMed AirFit F20 full face mask. Yuwell also offers a full face mask called the AmeriFlex Full which includes extra cushion replacements.

The full face style of sleep apnea mask is one of the most commonly prescribed for CPAP users that mouth breathe or need high CPAP pressures. The BreathWear is made with adaptive easy-flex technology with a U-shaped feature on the bridge of the nose. This design creates a reliable seal without generating excessive leak. The latex free silicone cushions allows the mask to adjusts according to different face shapes. This mask uses a new quiet vent elbow for the BreathWear YF-02 CPAP masks which is 89% quieter than their previous masks.

Special Features:

  • Non-Magnetic Clips
  • Adoptive Full Face Cushion
  • Quite Vent
  • Quick Release Elbow and Swivel
  • Open Visibility Mask Design

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Good mask, good price

I liked the design and price of this mask, so I thought I’d try it out. I had problems with leaking and air blowing near my eyes at first but read it could be a size issue. I tried another and adjusted the headgear and that night I had minimal leaks and no air blowing in my eyes. Turned out to be very comfortable, fairly easy to remove and the open eye view is nice. I would recommend trying a different size if you have leaks at first.

Great replacement mask

I used to wear the F20 by Resmed but then needed a mask without the magnetic clips. I browsed online and found this one which seemed closely related to the F20. I was hesitant but it had no leaks, was comfortable and kept my field of vision open, which is something I really loved about my old mask. It’s a great alternative for those who need masks without magnetic clips.
