RespCare Aloha Nasal Pillow Mask Kit

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The Aloha nasal pillow CPAP mask is a lightweight interface used for the treatment of sleep apnea, snoring and flow limitation. This style of mask uses soft silicone cushions that seal around the nostril for delivery of air by your CPAP machine. The unique headgear (optional add-on) allows the user to attach the short tube assembly to the top of the head or allow it to hang below.

The Aloha is available in three different cushion sizes or you can include all sizes if you are uncertain of your need. The silicone cushion seals should be wiped down daily to remove facial oil build up which can lead to CPAP mask leak and skin irritation. The headgear (not included) strap should be washed by hand and left to air dry (do not put into a drier). When the mask starts to lose elasticity it is time to replace the headgear strap.

Special Features and Benefits

  • Unique Frame - A unique and exclusive system that allows you to adjust the angle and depth of the nasal pillows; improving the comfort and seal while minimizing potential discomfort and irritation.
  • Ball-and-Swivel Joint - Minimize pull on your tube with the ability to move and accommodate various sleeping positions.
  • Exclusive Arced-Track Technology - The angle of the pillow cushion is adjusted for a more customized and natural fit providing you maximum comfort!
  • Angled Exhalation Ports - Minimize the potential disruption or discomfort for you or your bed partner.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal pillow style CPAP mask. These masks are the least invasive and use silicone pillows that
seal in or around the outside of the nostril only.

Will This Brand
of Mask Work with Any CPAP Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal pillow CPAP
mask is A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Great Seal!

Love the way the silicone cushions seal in my nostrils. Does not leave my nose sore. Took me a while to get use to it but glad I chose this mask. Very lightweight , and doesn't make me feel trapped.
