Filters - There are many signs that the disposable filter you have is in need of being exchanged for a new one. Check them on a daily basis for bacteria build-up and tears which can cause major damage to your machine if not managed. If you notice you are gasping for air at night or you are not receiving the air pressure that your prescription dictates, it may be time to replace your machine filters. This bundle includes a 3 pack of disposable filters that need to be replaced every 15 days to ensure you are receiving the cleanest air pressure possible.
Water Chamber - One of the easiest CPAP accessories to manage is the water chamber tub or water reservoir. Designed to be filled up with distilled water on a nightly basis and emptied after each use, the clear frame makes it simple to monitor. Calcium and Lime build-up can occur if not maintained correctly. Proper cleaning and management can extend the life of your water chamber meaning less money you have to spend in the future!
Tube - CPAP tubing collects condensation while using the heated humidifier as the humidity leaves the water chamber and makes its way to your mask. The tube is recommended to be replaced at least every 3 months due to the condensation collection that occurs on a nightly occurrence. Proper cleaning of the tube can increase the life expectancy.
