AirFit N30i Nasal Cradle

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

ResMed AirFit N30i replacement cushion is the silicone seal that attaches to the nasal style CPAP mask. Facial oil build up on the silicone will break down the consistency of the cushion over time and lead to mask leak. When this occurs it is time to replace your AirFit N30i seal. The cushion seals are color coded to easily recognize the size you need to replace. The small cushion has a red dot while the medium is blue, small-wide is purple and wide is gray.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, CPAP mask parts and accessories do not require a
prescription for purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by
replacing the cushion seals and headgear, a great cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

Constantly needs adjusting

Constantly needs adjusting when changing positions and harness is not stable when on head strap keeps slipping on one's hair. Advantage less discomfort to the nose unlike the AIRTouch nasal cushion due to it's wider than any of the AIRTouch cushions

New nose cushion

This cushion is not as durable as the initial version for the N30i mask. ResMed tried to improve it with softer rubber, but the change resulted in a much higher air leak numbers, and it is more difficult to stay in place during the night. Getting the mask-leak numbers down has proven impossible given the very soft cushion with no stiffener. Unfortunately, it seems that the original cushions are no longer available. This needs to be fixed for more user compliance.

Not as good as the initial version

Resmed tried to improve this iteration by going with the softer materials, this helps in one way however the integrity of the mask isn't there anymore many times started experiencing leaks as it lost the support it used to have in the initial version. Also the softer materials tend to rip easily during cleaning already in my fourth purchase in the less than 6 months. Please fix it.
