Replacement Headgear for ResMed AirFit F30i

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The replacement headgear for the all-new ResMed AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP Mask comes in a one-size fits all option, simplifying the process of replacing your CPAP supplies. Although there are similarities to the previously released AirFit F30 CPAP Mask by ResMed, this headgear is ONLY compatible with the new F30i Mask. If you have any questions, contact one of our customer service representatives and they can assist you in finding the appropriate part you are looking for.

ResMed understands the hassle of trying to find a comfortable and secure fit when connecting your mask so they designed this headgear to utilize magnetic clips and Velcro end straps. These allow you to quickly and effectively remove your CPAP Mask and re-attach without searching for the same comfortable fit as the night before.

Safety Tip: This product utilizes magnets which may interfere with devices such as: pacemakers, defibrillators, and implants. As a best practice, keep the them a minimum of 2 inches from all medical units.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, mask parts do not require a prescription for purchase. Often
you can prolong the life of your CPAP mask by replacing the headgear, a great
cost savings!

How Do I Know Which Headgear Size to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the correct model and size
of replacement mask headgear. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard headgear
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a headgear has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the headgear labeled
in the fabric, be sure to check there first. Not sure? Feel free to use our
live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

How Often Should I Replace My Headgear?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Headgear?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most headgear straps is to handwash and
let air dry. DO NOT PUT HEADGEAR IN DRYER. It is important to clean your headgear
weekly to remove oils, makeup or dirt that can lead to mask leaks.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a CPAP mask headgear is
A7035.

Poor

Breaks apart easy, digs into the ears, poor seal around the nose and not perfect at all for side sleepers.

Lightweight and good seal

This mask is comfortable and once adjusted, it stays in place all night. I move a lot when sleeping and it doesn’t come off in the night like other ones I’ve used.

F30i Hybrid works well for this nasal mask user

ResMed screwed up its top-notch N30i by re-designing the nose cushion in a way that has made it impossible for me to get my leak numbers under 22 L/min A friend has had good luck with the "hybrid'" style full-face masks, so tried some and I found the ResMed F30i very comfortable. My therapy is better as leak numbers are down under 10. I feel better in the mornings. A I set the CPAP Mask-type to "full face" and turn off the EPR function. I worry about how delicate the attachment point between mask-frame and cushion. I've found I can put the large cushion inside the water chamber to protect it when traveling.

Very comfortable but breaks easily

I have been using this mask for a year, and twice, the head tubing has broken where it attaches to the front part. I really do like this mask, but considering I changed my mask because the other one I had used for several years just kept breaking continually. It's great that masks are getting more comfortable, but it'd be awesome if they were still made well. I'll continue using this mask but I have to have a backup of all parts just in case.
