AirFit F20 for Her Full Face with Optional Headgear

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

ResMed created the AirFit F20 full face CPAP mask for her has been modified from the previous F10 series model. This specifically designed sleep apnea interface just for women has a variety of enhancements and features such as lavender color accented headgear and more petite cushion sizes just for the female user. The custom frame adapts to many facial structures, with the newest technology in the InfinitySeal dual wall cushion that greatly increases mask seal.

Full face style of CPAP masks are most often prescribed for users that have trouble breathing solely through their nose and need the ability to breathe through their mouth and nose. These users could suffer from deviated septum or prescribed high pressure settings that will blow their mouth open when using a standard nasal style mask. The AirFit F20 for Her is also designed to fit across a wide range of therapy pressures. The mask is very lightweight and much less claustrophobic than other full face masks by not using a forehead support, which allows a clear line of sight.

Special Features and Benefits of the AirFit F20 for Her

  • Open Visibility Mask Design: The AirFit 20 for Her Full Face mask covers the nose and mouth without the aid of a forehead support. The frame spreads low beneath the eyes and rises high above the ears. Those who are claustrophobic or enjoy reading and watching TV before falling asleep may enjoy the open range of visibility
  • InfinitySeal Full Face Cushion: The newly designed seal provides an effective seal across a wide range of therapy pressures to strengthen the seal throughout CPAP therapy. This cushion pairs with the frame which is intended to fit a number of different face types and structures.
  • Optional Padded Headgear with Magnetic Clips: Plush headgear is specifically designed for extra softness and stability. The Magnetic clips guide the headgear to the frame quickly and easily.
  • Quick Release Elbow with Air Diffuser: This feature allows the user to quickly stop and start therapy without the need to disrupt the mask. Diffused venting evenly disperses air to dampen air flow and noise out of the mask.

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Causes burns on your face

I have had a BiPAP machine for 10 years. My current mask that I got from Respironics worked fine but I was told I couldn’t get it anymore. The CPAP company said I need this mask. I tried it and I love the fit however I got blisters and it burnt my skin. After a few days it my skin started peeling off. I have pictures to prove this. They need to take this off the market and let us know what is the mask is actually made of

Comfortable and quiet

Mask is comfortable and quiet. I've had issues with noise from other masks but this one is quiet enough to sleep through the whole night. Had to adjust the straps at first to get the right seal but now works great.

Very good for sensitive skin

Got this because my skin is sensitive due to using retinoids on my face. Can lead to blisters with a normal mask. But this one is perfect.
