Sunset Deluxe Full Face CPAP Mask Kit

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The full face CPAP mask by Sunset Healthcare allows a clear line of site while wearing the CPAP Mask. Most full face CPAP masks need to utilize a forehead support and pad in order to maintain the seal, but Sunset Healthcare has found a way to still receive nasal/ oral treatment with eliminated the forehead support.

The forehead support can not only cause discomfort at times or prohibit the ability to maximize your seal, it can also cause claustrophobic customers to take the mask off, feeling confined. Eliminating the forehead support/ pad, eliminates any part of the mask from your vision. The full face mask has 3 sizes of soft, replaceable cushions (Sm, Med, Lg), is extremely lightweight and has a swivel/ flexible tube in front of the mask allowing for movement while sleeping.

Special Features

  • Flexible - Extremely flexible allowing you to find the perfect fitting mask. The cushions are easily exchangeable on the mask frame while the mask is very lightweight giving the feel as though you are not wearing a mask at all.
  • 360° Swivel - Designed with a dual-swivel elbow and tube allowing you for movement in any direction while still maintaining your seal. The elbow and tube will connect to your 6 ft CPAP tubing which then connects to your CPAP or Bi-Level machine.
  • Headgear Clips - 4 connection points to the frame are adjustable and will allow you to fit the mask based on your individual needs and facial structure. The headgear also has a strap which will lay over the crown of the head. The clips allow you to easily put on and remove the mask without changing the headgear settings. Once you have the mask fit perfectly to your needs, simply disconnect the headgear using the clips and leave the headgear maintaining your perfect fit!

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a full face style CPAP mask. These masks use a silicone cushion that provides a seal around the
nose and mouth to allow the user to breathe through both.

Will This Brand
of CPAP Mask Work with My CPAP or Bi-Level Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a full face CPAP mask
is A7030 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Not a bad mask

This mask doesn't look like much but it gets the job done just as good as any mask I've had. I actually really like that the cushion is flexible and the frame isn't very bulky.
