DreamWear Silicone Pillow Mask Fit Pack

Product Description

The new DreamWear Silicone Pillow Mask maintains the unique design of all masks found in the DreamWear line by Philips Respironics. The flexible, silicone frame allows you to move free throughout the night while maintaining an open field of vision to watch tv, read, or wear your glasses with your CPAP mask.

These soft silicone pillows rest gently under your nose ensuring you receive the desired airflow directly into your nostrils. This CPAP mask is the same as the DreamWear Gel Pillow Mask, however, you can now choose between gel or silicone material in your pillow cushion. Respironics DreamWear Silicone is designed to maintain a comfortable fit and effective seal with 4 pillow sizes that give you the ability to find the best fit the first night through the fit pack option.

The DreamWear Silicone is lightweight and comfortable; it's like you're wearing nothing at all! The ingenious design directs airflow through the frame so you can sleep comfortably, and the tubing connection located at the top of the head allows you to sleep in any position you choose: stomach, side, or back. Giving you the freedom you so deserve!

The DreamWear silicone pillow mask also uses the same frame as the DreamWear Full Face Mask and DreamWear Nasal Mask. This means once you purchase any DreamWear mask, you have the opportunity to switch between any style of cushion offered in the DreamWear family of products. You can switch cushions without changing your mask; giving you more choices with your sleep therapy, with just one mask.

Special Features & Benefits

  • Cushion Variation Options - The universal mask frame accommodates nasal, full face, and pillow cushions. Easily remove, clean, and replace your cushions by matching up the triangle on the frame and cushion for fast assembly.
  • Soft Tubing Frame - Soft silicone mask frame is lightweight and flexible.
  • Freedom - Gain the freedom of movement with the unique design of the frame which allows you to receive full air pressure no matter how you sleep. If you sleep on your back, DreamWear distributes air through both tubes equally. If you shift onto your side the DreamWear frame maintains the full therapy air levels by redirecting to the unrestricted side of the tubing.
  • Headgear and Tubing Attachment - The single strap headgear rests at the back of the head, stabilizing the mask without over-tightening. Utilize the slip resistant arms that sit above your ears and offer minimal contact with your skin while reducing mask movement. The tubing elbow is located on the top of the head where it can swivel freely to help reduce drag.
  • Open field of vision - Wear glasses, read, or watch TV. Maintain your nightly routine while wearing your CPAP mask.
  • No red marks - Leaves no marks on the bridge of the of the nose.
  • Soft Wraps - Soft fabric wraps provide a soft touch on the patients cheek.

What Style of CPAP Mask is This?

This is a nasal pillow style CPAP mask. These masks are the least invasive and use silicone pillows that
seal in or around the outside of the nostril only.

Will This Brand
of Mask Work with Any CPAP Machine?

Most CPAP masks are designed
to be universal and will work with any manufacturer. Example: Your Philips
Respironics CPAP mask will work with your ResMed CPAP machine. The masks are
also designed to fit any brand of standard 22mm CPAP tubing. The exception to
the rule will be for certain travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini
whereas special masks and connectors are needed.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal pillow CPAP
mask is A7034 and A7035

How Often Should I Replace This Mask?

This will depend on how well you clean and maintain your
CPAP mask. The typical lifespan for the complete mask is 3-12 months based on
care. The cushion seal and headgear should be replaced every 1-3 months based
on wear and tear. Signs to replace will include noticeable mask leakage and/or
discoloration.

How Do I Clean This Mask?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most CPAP masks is to clean with mild
soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion seal daily
to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks. Your headgear
strap should be cleaned by hand weekly and left to dry by room air.

Increase Your CPAP usage

Respironics DreamWear Silicone Pillow CPAP Mask presents a cost effective way to overcome the claustrophobic response I have to full face masks. It is very comfortable and given design frees up the face . Air is routed at the top of the mask and it comes with multiple sizes( small, medium and large). Construction appears to very good and its very reasonably priced even compared to other manufacturers designs along the same lines. . I use it with my ResMed CPAP after getting a recommendation from a friend. Paying it forward with this recommendation is easy

These make a Difference

The "arms" allow for better fit, particularly for those of us with flatter heads or a lot of hair. With the DreamWear silicone mask with pillows and the arms I frequently don't even realize I have the CPAP on and that it is working. VERY comfortable. I've been using a CPAP for over 5 years with different configurations, but this mask WITH the arms is the most comfortable. I have a small face and get the small frame. I am now on my second frame because I like it so much. I have always used the pillows, but with different "frames' from around the back of the neck to over the head. This is the most comfortable

Best so far

Started CPAP in January (now July). Started with full face Amara view, then tested the Brevida nasal pillows to see if I could keep my mouth closed and it worked! Brevida was awesome but would leak whenever I went onto my side. Cause me to wake up repeatedly throughout the night to noise from air leakage. AHI between 3.8 - 6 with a goal to stay below 5. Then tried this DreamWear Silicon Pillow (which is a newer version of the DreamWear Gel Pillows). Unreal comfort and AHI of 2.8 on the first night! Hose placement on top of the head makes turning at night simple since you don't have to manage the hose. Side sleeping is no problem, especially since if one side is compressed the airflow simply reroutes to the other side so pressure is maintained. So far a great experience with this mask. Be sure to measure your nose with the included gauge when selecting the pillow size (this set comes with all sizes).
