Product Description

When it comes to sleep apnea, the fit of a mask can make or break a good night’s sleep. Now that you've been scanned with Philips Mask Selector 3D, you can rest easy knowing that your DreamWear mask with Precise-Fit Nasal Cushion has specifically been selected to fit your unique facial features.

DreamWear CPAP masks have a low profile design that eliminates the discomfort when worn. Moreover, red marks on the bridge of the nose or irritation in the nostrils appear after a prolonged use of CPAP masks. The DreamWear nasal mask by Philips Respironics is a mask that won’t leave red marks on your face.

With the DreamWear nasal masks, there is absolutely no contact on the top of the nose or at the sensitive nasal bridge. This revolutionary new design gives you the freedom and comfort you deserve during your CPAP therapy.

IMPORTANT: These cushion seals are specifically sized with Philips Mask Selector 3D and are available in sizes 1 thru 11.

What Is a Nasal Cushion?

A nasal cushion (also called a nasal pillow) is a soft material that sits at the base of the nose. Nasal cushions provide comfort for people wearing a CPAP mask during therapy. Aside from comfort, it also supports the strap that goes around the head.

Users of the Philips Respironics Mask prefer wearing nasal cushions to help them comfortably at night. Patients need to insert the cushion inside their nose to support the CPAP mask. However, nasal pillows are not for everyone. Some people find them uncomfortable to wear.

Since the cushions go inside the nose, it may irritate or tickle some patients. Additionally, improper sizes may cause air leaks or irritations, which is why it is recommended you only use Philips Respironics products.

How Do I Know Which Size Cushion to Buy?

It is very important to confirm the size of replacement mask
cushion seal for a few reasons. 1.) While most CPAP masks use a standard frame
size, some offer different sizes. 2.) Once a cushion has been opened from the original
packaging it cannot be returned. You can usually find the size of the cushion
labeled some place on your current mask, be sure to check there first. Not
sure? Feel free to use our live chat to speak with an agent for assistance.

Is This Cushion Seal Latex Free?

Yes, all CPAP mask cushions we
sell are latex free. Most cushion seals are made from soft silicone material.
For CPAP users that experience discomfort from silicone cushions there are some
masks that use cloth or memory foam material. Feel free to speak with one of
our customer service agents to find out more.

How Often Should I Replace This Cushion Seal?

Your mask cushion seal typically has a life span of 1-3 months,
however with proper care they can last up to 6 months. Signs of replacement will
be excessive mask leak and/or discoloration.

How Do I Clean My Mask Cushion Seal?

You should consult the owner’s manual that is included with
your mask system. The rule of thumb for most mask cushion seals is to clean
with mild soap by hand and let air dry. It is important to clean your cushion
seal daily to remove facial oils, makeup or dirt that can cause mask leaks.

I Want to Submit an Insurance Claim. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for a nasal or full-face
cushion is A7032. For pillow cushion styles you should use HCPC code A0733.

A Great Mask

This mask has surpassed my initial expectations and has proven to be an excellent choice. I have not encountered any leakage issues, which was a pleasant surprise. It allows me to sleep comfortably on my side without any discomfort, and I particularly appreciate the design feature where the hose connects to the top, keeping it out of the way. I am extremely satisfied with this mask and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and effective solution.

Good Mask

I really like the style and idea of this mask, though at first it was a little difficult to get use to hearing the air coming down the sides. Took some time to get use to.

A great mask for breathing and sleeping...

I have the dream wear pillow nasal mask, and after trying many different mask, I found this to be a great solution for me as well. No hose to deal with and don't feel like I'm smothering with my nose and mouth covered... I would recommend this to anyone..

RECOMMENDATIONS

I would like to share my comparison of this mask with the Airfit P10 mask, and make recommendations that perhaps can be sent to Respironics to improve the Dreamware mask.. I like the mask in general.. but they should have made it using Nasal Airpillows similar to the P10.. I have both masks and the P10 is a better seal and allows for longer Deep Sleep periods than the Dreamware mask.. I think people would value this information, as I am now stuck with a mask that just does not work for me..
