ResMed AirSense 11 Disposable Pollen Filter

This Product DOES NOT Require a Prescription

Product Description

The Hypo-Allergenic CPAP filters are designed specifically to be used with the ResMed AirSense™ 11 CPAP machines and add an additional layer of protection from pollutants. The length, width, and height are specific to these devices and allow the air to be properly filtrated by the machine. The machines pull from the room air when providing the user a positive airway pressure and the filter is the last line of defense for air pollutants.

The filter should be replaced about every month to two months. This will depend on the air quality in your home and or surrounding environment. A dirty or clogged filter can cause the machine to malfunction and in some severe cases cause complete failure. The replacement of the filters monthly also ensures the user is being provided with the best quality of air possible.

How Often Should I Replace My Filters?

To make sure that the air quality you breathe during the
night is high and safe, you need to replace or clean the CPAP filters
periodically. If you have pets, have someone in your home who smokes, or have a
wood-burning stove, you will need to replace the filters more regularly. Disposable
CPAP filters should be replaced every 1-3 months. You cannot reuse them. You
will want to change the disposable in-line bacteria filters every 30 days.

Reusable filters should be replaced every 12-24 months depending
on routine maintenance.

How Do I Clean My Machine Filter?

Unless your machine uses a reusable filter, it is recommended
to dispose of the CPAP filter and not attempt to clean and reuse. Disposable filters
are typically made of a thin white material and should be disposed/replaced
when noticeable build up can be seen or it has been 3 months. Reusable filters
are made of foam-like material and can be cleaned by hand and left to air dry.

I Want to Submit a Self-Claim to My Insurance. Can I Do
This?

In most cases you can submit a claim form for an out-of-net
network provider. You may receive reimbursement back from your provider
depending on your coverage and co-pay. The HCPC code for disposable CPAP
filters is A7038. The HCPC code for reusable CPAP filters is A7039.

Do I Need a Prescription for This Product?

No, machine and mask parts do not require a prescription for
purchase. Often you can prolong the life of your CPAP machine by replacing your
CPAP filter on a frequent basis!

BAD chamber . Chamber brakes very easy and water leaks out.

I had Airsense 10 and was GREAT , Do not understand why this Airsense 11 is bad. I have bought 3 chambers in 1 year and they brake , water is all over the night table. I wish I could go back to my old one. Until they fix this problem do not recommend this version . If you have a chance go get # 10 do it . Unfortunately my old one had to many years of use and had to change for Airsense 11,

Silent high performance

I upgraded from an Airsense 10 I'd had for many years to an Airsense 11. The older Airsense 10 was still going well, but I didn't want to wait for a failure to replace it in a scrambled struggle and it'll be my backup unit since I absolutely require a CPAP to sleep effectively. I'm extremely pleased with the newer Airsense 11. I sleep better with it and my partner is also happy with the reduction in noise. It is amazing in that I can't ever hear it running at all. It seems too good to be true that it does a better job and is completely silent. It was also nice to regain the capability to use the app again since the older unit employed a cellular technology that was no longer available in my area. Now I can check my statistics again with the app :-)

2 new machines can't handle rated pressure.

It's rated to 25 cm water but my original machine and the new replacement both started making odd noises and shut off in the middle of the night (auto off is disabled). It might be OK for lower pressures but there's no way to know what pressure it can handle.

Super flexible and durable

Super flexible and durable cord, works really well and has held up against damage so far (damage being my cat trying to play with it)

Not the Innovation I was Hoping for.......

I really really tried to love this machine, I am an Airsense 10 user and thought this would be the same quality in a small more compact design. Ultimately it was a big let down. The 1st machine, new out of the box, was a delight for the first few months until I started getting the periodic "Heating System Error. Therapy may run without heating." I use the heated comfortline tubing and the humidair functionality. At first I thought it was the climateline hose, so I replaced it. Continued getting the message, the heating plate was not getting warm. I knew at this point I had to get it fixed/replaced. The unit was so new that they exchanged me with another new unit. Not even 2 weeks later......same error message came back. So as much as I wanted to enjoy this new Airsense 11, it went back in the box and is now sitting in my closet while I continue to use my reliable but old Airsense 10.
